This mix contains a combination of aromatic spices including garlic paprika cumin and coriander which adds a rich and savoury flavour to your chicken. Simply marinate your chicken with this mix grill or roast it and serve it in warm pita bread with your favourite toppings and sauces for a mouth-watering shawarma experience. Each packet contains 40g of the mix perfect for seasoning a small batch of shawarma.
Preparation and Usage
Cut 500g chicken breast and 1 onion into thin slices; add MAGGI Shawarma Mix, 2 tbsp. olive oil and 3 tbsp. yoghurt. Mix well and marinate in the fridge for 2 hours. Preheat oven to 200°C. Place the chicken in an oven dish; cook for 10 minutes, stir and cook for another 10 minutes. Place a few spoonful of the Chicken Shawarma on a pita bread, top with Garlic paste, Pickles, Tomato and Lettuce slices and roll to make a wrap and serve.
